Rumor: WebOS 1.2 delayed again

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - September 23, 2009

Rumors have been swirling about the next update for the Palm Pre being released on September 24. All Pre owners in the know have had their hearts set on a Thursday release of WebOS 1.2. Now comes word from PreCentral that the next update for WebOS might be delayed, again.

According to PreCentral's sources, Sprint needs to do more testing on webOS 1.2, as well as the new App Catalog. The rumor is now that WebOS will be released next week under the version 1.2.1.

In addition to a host of improvements iTunes syncing will probably be re-enabled after Apple disabled the syncing with iTunes 9.0. Stay tuned...
