Hi,
I have just acquired a Palm e which has had the battery changed at some point, and apparantly, after the new battery was installed a problem occured.
If the charge runs out, when re-charged, all saved data has gone.
Now, I have also discovered that there is no sound except thru earphones. I read somewhere about the onboard contacts not 'Making' if the battery is a bit too thick so I found that by gently pressing the back in, sound emerges. Therefore, I was wondering if there is another contact that needs to be 'made' in order for memory to stay intact?
In other words remove back and modify a contact or two.
anyone?
ALSO another Q.
Although I have succeeded in transfering files using the supplied (Awkward) software, XP doesn't recognise it in the same way that it does my Windows 5 based Mobile. That is to say, that I can see the installed files and am able to modify or change them.
Is this poss with a Palm 'E'? _________________ Terry E Ive |
