How to get a Palm Pre Plus on Sprint

How To - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 17, 2010

Why is it that Palm never released a Palm Pre Plus on Sprint? The early adopters of the Palm Pre were Sprint users, but they got the shaft when Palm never provided an updated phone with more memory, and a better slider and keyboard. Well thanks to some forums members at Pre Central, you can hack your way to a Palm Pre Plus on Sprint.

The hack isn't easy, and involves starting with a Palm Pre and a Palm Pre Plus. You'll essentially be taking the radio board from a Sprint Pre and popping it into a Palm Pre Plus (Verizon or AT&T), and then doing a meta-Doctor with a hacked Sprint webOS installation.

If you think you can handle all that, click the link below and give it a whirl. Keep in mind that if you do something wrong it could brick both phones.
