Palm loses another key employee

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 27, 2010

All Things Digital is reporting that Palm's senior director of human interface and user experience, Matias Duarte, has left Palm/HP for Google. Duarte will be the new “User Experience Director for Android.” Most of us remember Duarte from his CES presentation a couple of years ago introducing webOS. Duarte's departure is another blow to Palm as Duarte was largely responsible for webOS.

Can Palm find someone to fill Duarte's shoes? We hope so, but at this point it might make sense to start migrating to Android. Unfortunately Palm's great ideas were just too little too late.
