Palm CEO answers the hard questions

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 08, 2010

Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein gave an interview to CNN Money. He gets down to brass tacks and answers several hard questions. He's honest about where Palm is and the disappointments they've faced, but still believes the company can and will survive.

webOS is arguably the best operating system for a smartphone. True multitasking make it powerful, yet the OS is very easy to use. However, we've been saying for a long time that Palm needs better hardware. Specifically, they need hardware with larger displays. Everyone else is offering 3.5" or 3.7" displays and Palm chooses to stick with a 3.1" display on the Pre. That just won't cut it.

We're rooting for Palm but won't be optimistic unless they get better hardware.

Check out the interview at the link below, it's a great read.
