Tweed 1.5 coming soon to webOS App Catalog

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 05, 2010

Pivotal Labs has announced that the next version of Tweed 1.5, their popular webOS Twitter app, will be in the App Catalog soon. After webOS 1.4 update was rolled out many users had issues with Tweed. The next version will hopefully address these issues and roll out a few new features.

The biggest new feature is the integrated TwitVid uploads. This feature is in beta because webOS cannot retry failed uploads. Pivotal Labs therefore recommends video uploading be done over WiFi.

Tweed 1.5 will also come with several bug fixes and changes including updates to the Load More feature, external links, and notifications.

Tweed initially started as a free app but development stopped on that. Because webOS 1.4 broke some of the features of the free version, Pivotal Labs is reducing the price of Tweed from $2.99 to $.99 temporarily. What a deal! Watch the App Catalog for Tweed 1.5's release.
