Sprint Treo Pro gets ringer patch

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 16, 2009

Palm has issued a software issue for Sprint's version of the Treo Pro. The update addresses a problem with the phone's registry getting corrupted and incoming call ringers becoming silent.

"The root cause of the Treo Pro No Ringer issue is related to a rare corruption of the Treo Pro’s registry key. This can lead to the smart phone not ringing and causing the user to miss an incoming call."

The update is recommended for Sprint Treo Pro EVDO devices only. Check the link below for the download and more specifics.
