WebOS 1.3.1 update available

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - November 14, 2009

WebOS 1.3.1 is now available for download. The update was released last night and people have been downloading like crazy. The new update adds Yahoo Synergy among other things, and fixes several bugs.

Here's a highlight from the changelog:

  • Yahoo support in Synergy
  • Improved notifications for emails
  • A track scrubber in Music
  • Text message forwarding
  • Custom ringtones for text messages (see changelog for instructions)
  • Google contact sync only now pulls from My Contacts all emails
  • Google Apps and Yahoo Small Business work with Email
  • PIN lock timer

The full changelog is available at Palm's web site. We were looking for a major speed increase but so far have not experienced it. In fact, searching contacts seems to be slower but we'll have to live with 1.3.1 for awhile before we'll know for sure.
