Palm Pre Ranks in PC World's Best 100 Products of 2009

Although the Palm Pre still has a tiny sliver of the smartphone market, it continues to get good reviews by those in the know. The Palm Pre has ranked 14th place in PC World's 100 Best Products of 2009.

The entry in PC World's list reads as follows:

14. Palm Pre (smartphone, $150 with two-year Sprint contract) The Pre wowed us with its engaging (and fun to use) WebOS software and eye-catching hardware. Thanks to the Pre's responsive multitouch screen, its intuitive gesture-based controls, and WebOS's beautiful way of organizing information, this smartphone is a pleasure to use. The keyboard may not be perfect, but that's a minor trade-off for everything else the Pre offers.

Are these positive reviews enough to save Palm and Sprint? It's too soon to tell but they'd better stay hard at work because Google's Android is spreading like wildfire.
