During a press event to announce the launch of MWg in Europe, a roadmap from the device manufacturer seemed to indicated that Windows Mobile 7 might be available later this year. The company showed a roadmap listing several smartphones and handhelds and one of them indicated a Q4 release with Windows Mobile 7.

Windows Mobile 7 has largely been expected to be released in 2009. Could this be a mistake on the part of MWg? Very interesting...
