According to Engadget.com, palmOne has included WiFi drivers in the GSM version of the Treo 650 but you cannot use them because they are disabled. Treo hackmaster Shadowmite reportedly found the drivers in an unused location of the Treo 650's memory with the first character of the filenames removed.
Many users have anxiously been waiting for WiFi drivers to be developed so they can use a WiFi SD Card with their Treo 650. Why would these drivers be disabled? Who knows. Engadget reports that Shadowmite is working on a fix. Stay tuned.
